    awaiting opportunities

The experience with Tws had changed my life style to the caliber of working warehouse jobs at $10/HR to becoming a professional pipe welder; landing $28/HR on my first job, Just in 7 months. And also met plenty of interesting people along the way.

    Hard work pays off

First of all I just want to say thank you TWS . The programs are great if you want to learn how to weld then there is noting stoping you at TWS. I would go to morning class then stay afterwords and weld, it’s like a 24/7 hands on welding . I got a job when I graduated at Huntington Ingles Ship yeard it’s not best paying job but it’s good experience it’s a tough job but if you can weld here you can weld anywhere , am 21 and making 22 an hour so that’s a start . So to me you guys help those that want to succeed , so having company’s come bye and hair it’s great . But you should tell students that just start welding when company’s come bye they should test for them because I think the most important thing is landing a job right after you graduate but alot want the big bucks from the get go and it can be done but chances are slim . But just work hard because hard work pays off.

    Shipfitting, where the heart is.

I absolutely loved my time at TWS. I got to get dirty and learned a new trade, Heck I even made a working guitar with my own two hands! Mike, Tom, and Jimmy were some outstanding instructors, I came into TWS not even knowing what a torch was, and came out with a self made WORKING guitar!

However, my thirst has not been quenched, I’ve completed the Shipfitting program and I’m coming back for more, Professional Welding, you’re next!

    Great opportunity

TWS gave me a great opportunity to live a good life. Without the skills I acquired through their program I would not be where I am in life today, the school taught me the basics of welding and fitting and I have been able to take that far beyond my expectations. I recommend TWS to everyone who shows interest in making welding their career. I really am grateful of the education I received at TWS and hope to return for the associates degree program.

    Tulsa Welding School

I heard several negative things about about tws before I attended, and yet still in the workforce and the field that I work in I hear negativity about the school. Personally, everyone has there own opinion to anything but I enjoyed everything that I learned while I was there and had a blast while I was learning. The instructors are extremely helpful and know what they’re teaching. The school with give you as much as you put in.

Tulsa is a great school for someone that doesn’t know much about welding, but wants to get in on the ground floor. Although I feel more can be taught in order for a graduate to be able to get a good job at a higher pay rate.

Best welding school in the United States

I traveled from California to attend tulsa welding school. Everyone I met was knowledgeable and helpful as well as answered every question I had with detail. Everyone told me “you get out what you put in” and they weren’t lying. Every instructor had a great deal of experience and was able to help me whenever I had a problem. I graduated top of my class with the help of the staff and instructors at that school. In my opinion it is the best knowledge that money can buy from a school.

    Quick and Easy

I came into the program not knowing anything about welding. I didn’t even know what a welding machine was, or even that electricity was involved. A week into phase one I knew I found the thing that I loved. This was my career, I am a welder. The next seven months weren’t hard at all, they actually breezed by. The intructors genuinely want to see you succeed and have a wealth of knowledge ready to tap into. I am quick to tell people where I learned to weld, and have a whole lot of pride in the entire school.

    From 0 to 100

I started out using a grinder for the first time in my life a week before school started. I was extremely worried about my skills and that I would know less than everyone else. The teachers are incredible and only want the best for you and for you to succeed. I ended up graduating second in my class thanks to my peers and awesome instructors. I highly recommend TWS.

    Makin the big bucks!

i graduated in july 2008, a rough time to be in the job market, i had a job in my home town of Amarillo tx in 5 months. i rose through the ranks quickly and started making over $2000 a week within 3 years. After just taking 1 year off of work (after i paid the house off). i just tested with TIC and start my new job here in Craig Co making $28 hr, and $80 per diem as a structural welder (60 hrs a week, you do the math). i will be home around christmas, and plain on taking another few months off.

Welding has given me EVERYTHING i have today, Tusla Welding School got me where i am at today, and i thank them for that!

Tulsa welding school graduate and successful welder

I attended tulsa welding school from November 2012 – June 2013, I graduated with very good grades and even better knowledge. I started welding from the very bottom, knew know one in the industry and had no
Idea how to weld. I learned very quick that learning to weld was all about the time and effort you
Put into it. I graduated towards the top of my class and left with a great understanding of the trade. After school I decided todo fabrication instead of pipe welding, I fabbed portable bars and tables for about a year then decided to do pipe welding. I got on as a welder with a company that does turnaround services in refineries and power plants. On the road we can make anywhere from $35-$42 and hour. With that money Iv been able to pay off bills and I am buying a 2015 Chevy within the next week. I think the best tool tulsa welding school had was their instructors, they answered all my questions and directed me in the direction of the company I am currently working for.

    Great school

The school was great I finished my program on time never had to repeat a single course because the teachers are intelligent unlike some other schools. It is a little pricey but for what you get it’s a good buy I would recommend it to anyone who would like to learn how to weld.

    Great School Bad Reputation

I am a TWS graduate and I loved the training despite how quickly each phase passed on. However I found that after graduating finding a job in this particular field was quite difficult. Due to many of the former students who were not actually graduate’s. Claiming to have been trained completely, going to interviews unable to pass weld tests. I don’t fault TWS for these former student’s. Instead I will say that TWS is a great school and I believe that anyone really wanting to obtain a great skill set TWS is definitely the best way to go. I’ve been welding now for five years and the money is awesome. So thank you TWS keep up with the great work.

Excellent school with even better instructors

I finished the program on schedule without any rephases. The instructors are top notch and are willing to teach if you are willing to learn. I landed a welding job a few days after I moved back home. Glad I went.
