What Are Military Scholarships?
Military scholarships fund your vocational training. Who can get military scholarships? Eligible active duty personnel, veterans and their families.ii These sources of funding may come from the federal government or nonprofit organizations.
TWS Scholarship Requirements:
- Before applying for a scholarship, you will need to meet all routine requirements for admission to TWS and be scheduled to start training.
- Once placed in a class or shift, you can’t transfer your scholarship to a different shift or program.
- Changing your training start date can result in the loss of your scholarship.
Military Scholarships to Fund Your Vocational Training
Military education benefits usually cover only tuition and a portion of fees. Fortunately, hundreds of military scholarships and grants are available that can help cover other educational expenses like books and fees.i
