The High School Senior Welding Competition Is Cancelled and Will Be Rescheduled

Most recently, our nation has been focused on circumstances that surround (COVID-19) commonly referred to as the Coronavirus. Ensuring the health, safety and well-being of our students has always been a top priority and is especially critical during this time.

As a precaution, we have decided to cancel the annual High School Senior Welding Competition across Tulsa Welding School campuses, which includes Tulsa and Houston competitions. We know many have prepared and looked forward to the event and we thank our students and staff who have showed interest. Those who planned on competing and registered for the event will still receive a $500 scholarship, despite the cancellation and a refund of any registration fees paid.

Additionally, we plan to hold a competition this summer while school is in session.

Although we’ll miss hosting the annual High School Senior Welding Competition this year, we must take everyone’s safety as our first priority.

We will continue monitoring the situation and provide updates to everyone, as available. As always, thank you for being a part of the Tulsa Welding School community. We look forward to welcoming incoming students to the start of classes this summer.
