    Cornerstone of my career

I attended Tulsa Welding School because I needed a career and skilled trade that was going to be needed for a very long time. TWS gave me the skills I needed to land a very good job for a respectable employer to get me started. I worked for Ingalls Shipbuilding constructing new Navy boats. I have since transferred my skills to work on nuclear-powered submarines for the U.S. Navy. It all started with TWS and its highly skilled and knowledgeable welders. Thank you.

    My tech school experience

I was able to go from knowing nothing about welding to picking it up by the first three phases due to the well experienced instructors and hands on approach. The constant shop time and available instructors to answer questions was a big help. I had a job there in Tulsa welding for twice the pay I was gettin at McDonald’s before phase 8 even came around. If they can make a welder out of a city boy like me then they have it going on over there.

    Best decision I’ve ever made!

I am a graduate of both the EMT and welding program. I love how hands on both programs were! Having both classroom time and lab time allowed us to learn the theory behind something and put it into action later. The instructors were hands-down the best part of the programs. At both the EMT campus and the welding campus, I always had someone I could turn to and ask questions. I attended Tulsa welding school from 2013 to 2014. After a month of graduation, I was able to obtain a job at a local AC company! Thank you so much, Tulsa welding school!

    Graduate

Tulsa welding school changed my life completely! I was able to land a job in less than two weeks of graduating! I now build tools for remotely operated submarines! If it wasn’t for this school I wouldn’t be anywhere close to where I am today!

My experience with Tulsa Welding School of Jacksonville

I attended TWS summer 2010 till spring 2011; TWS was great and the program was informative and thorough. I left the program confident in my welding skills. The career specialists helped me with my resume and job search, and also helped me nail my interview skills. Thanks to TWS I have been with a stronge growing company that has recently gone international for the past 5 years . I travel the world, such as Progue, Check.. Scotland, Canada, and England. I’ve also been all over the united States, approximately 30 states! I’ve also partnered to start a small business on the side creating, Welding, and building smoker grills. They’ve given me skills that opened doors for myself and my family! I’m self reliant and independent. Thank you TWS!

    Professional welder program

Program was extremely quick. Welling instructors were knowledgable and encouraging. Tulsa was great about letting you weld as many hours as you wanted to in order to perfect your skill. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. One of the best decisions I made to set myself up for a career in welsing

    Great teachers

School helped refine my welding skills and the teachers helped fix the bad areas. If you want to work in the field on a pipe line in phase 9 take the pipe class. If you like Tig take the high frequency tig class like I did. Now welding high end Aluminum boat parts for companies.

    Fun!

Anyone could claim to be a welder after attending TWS, but their talent just gets wasted when finding a welding job isn’t put to an effort. The school does most of the search for you, taking and passing the weld tests is all up to you. The school did not recommend J&G Steel, which is where I work as a full time welder, but because I was able to look and find the job that suited me. Thanks to TWS and their instructors for tips and the skill to get the job done in a timely and accurate matter.
