Message from the Campus President

Welcome to Tulsa Welding School (TWS)!

We’re proud to celebrate 75 years of training skilled trades professionals right here in Tulsa, our flagship campus. Since opening our doors in 1949 , TWS has been dedicated to empowering individuals with the education and training they need to secure in-demand careers and create brighter futures for themselves and their families. With programs in HVAC/Refrigeration (residential and commercial), Welding and Electrical, all of which can be completed in under a year—some in as few as 6 or 7 months—we are committed to helping our students launch rewarding careers in the skilled trades.

At TWS, we don’t just teach technical skills; we’re deeply invested in the success of our students and our community. Our graduates are meeting the increasing demand** for skilled trades professionals, not just in Oklahoma but across all 50 states nationwide (iii). We proudly collaborate with many organizations, associations and employers that provide on-campus resources, supplies and career opportunities. Additionally, we are honored to work alongside Indigenous populations and other underserved communities to ensure access to quality education and training that empowers individuals to become self-sustaining members of society.

Our Tulsa campus is more than just a school—it’s a thriving community of passionate faculty, dedicated staff, and ambitious students. From the moment you step onto our campus, you’ll find a supportive environment designed to help you succeed. Our dedicated faculty and outstanding Career Services team is here to assist graduates in identifying relevant career opportunities, while our Student Financial Servies department helps students navigate the resources available to them. We understand the challenges our students face and strive to provide an educational experience that sets them up for success, both academically and professionally.

As Campus President, I’m incredibly proud of our role in shaping the future of skilled trades professionals and contributing to Oklahoma’s growth and infrastructure needs.
