Tulsa is a great school for someone that doesn’t know much about welding, but wants to get in on the ground floor. Although I feel more can be taught in order for a graduate to be able to get a good job at a higher pay rate.

Best welding school in the United States

I traveled from California to attend tulsa welding school. Everyone I met was knowledgeable and helpful as well as answered every question I had with detail. Everyone told me “you get out what you put in” and they weren’t lying. Every instructor had a great deal of experience and was able to help me whenever I had a problem. I graduated top of my class with the help of the staff and instructors at that school. In my opinion it is the best knowledge that money can buy from a school.

    Quick and Easy

I came into the program not knowing anything about welding. I didn’t even know what a welding machine was, or even that electricity was involved. A week into phase one I knew I found the thing that I loved. This was my career, I am a welder. The next seven months weren’t hard at all, they actually breezed by. The intructors genuinely want to see you succeed and have a wealth of knowledge ready to tap into. I am quick to tell people where I learned to weld, and have a whole lot of pride in the entire school.

    From 0 to 100

I started out using a grinder for the first time in my life a week before school started. I was extremely worried about my skills and that I would know less than everyone else. The teachers are incredible and only want the best for you and for you to succeed. I ended up graduating second in my class thanks to my peers and awesome instructors. I highly recommend TWS.

    Makin the big bucks!

i graduated in july 2008, a rough time to be in the job market, i had a job in my home town of Amarillo tx in 5 months. i rose through the ranks quickly and started making over $2000 a week within 3 years. After just taking 1 year off of work (after i paid the house off). i just tested with TIC and start my new job here in Craig Co making $28 hr, and $80 per diem as a structural welder (60 hrs a week, you do the math). i will be home around christmas, and plain on taking another few months off.

Welding has given me EVERYTHING i have today, Tusla Welding School got me where i am at today, and i thank them for that!

    Professional welder program

Program was extremely quick. Welling instructors were knowledgable and encouraging. Tulsa was great about letting you weld as many hours as you wanted to in order to perfect your skill. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. One of the best decisions I made to set myself up for a career in welsing

    Great teachers

School helped refine my welding skills and the teachers helped fix the bad areas. If you want to work in the field on a pipe line in phase 9 take the pipe class. If you like Tig take the high frequency tig class like I did. Now welding high end Aluminum boat parts for companies.

So I have too say thanks for all of my instructors their at Tulsa Welding School. They gave me good advice about finding work and being a Professional at what I do. On the job and off the job. Have too be well rounded about the things you do in life. It was a good opportunity for me too attend Tulsa Welding School. So thanks you for everything. Stay focus on the job at hand.

    Fun!

Anyone could claim to be a welder after attending TWS, but their talent just gets wasted when finding a welding job isn’t put to an effort. The school does most of the search for you, taking and passing the weld tests is all up to you. The school did not recommend J&G Steel, which is where I work as a full time welder, but because I was able to look and find the job that suited me. Thanks to TWS and their instructors for tips and the skill to get the job done in a timely and accurate matter.

    TWS course review

I was able to complete all 3 course through Tulsa Welding school in just 2 years using my post 9/11 g.i. bill. The programs have classes for anyone’s schedule, and the staff and instructors are always willing to help or answers questions.

    I highly recommend it.

I came to Tulsa Welding School out of the Army, with no marketable skills whatsoever. I had no grasp of the concept of welding. I was never the best welder during the course of my schooling but I asked the most questions and hustled harder than anyone else. By the end I had enough skills to take to a shop as an entry level welder. 3 years later I’m on my third welding gig and starting off at $25/hr. If you put in the leg work and grill your instructors, this school is for you. These guys know what they’re talking about.

    Getting my life started

Tulsa Welding School gave me a foot in the door for my desired profession. Great staff and training put me ahead of the competition when trying to land a job. Not only their training, but also their office faculty guided me to great choices financially and in search for my job. I have recommended TWS to many friends of mine who are thinking about technical schooling. I can’t thank them enough for how much they helped me start my life. I came in with no knowledge about welding and they quickly sparked my interest. I have been graduated for 5 months and I have already landed many full time opportunities all over the country.

Awesome school, killer teachers, and great friends

Tulsa allowed me to work where I want, when I want. I’ve worked in ship yards for a while and now I’m a teamster in New York City, believe it or not I keep my welding machine in my tractor and I use it more than you’d expect. I’m saving up now for a monster welding truck so I can move to Colorado and fulfill my dream of living away from the city while also making a great living ! THANKS GUYS !!!

    professional welders course

The course was fast paced which we all knew, but some of the phases the teachers had too many students so we didn’t get the instructor time we needed. Basically there needs to be more instructors or less students perphase
