What to Expect After You Apply
Student Aid Report
You’ll receive a Student Aid Report (SAR) that summarizes the information you listed on your application. You may not be done with the application process because some information may be wrong and need to be corrected. Learn more about the SAR here.
Expected Family Contribution
Once your application is complete, your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) will appear in the upper right-hand corner of your SAR. Your EFC is not the amount of federal student aid you’ll receive. An EFC is not the amount of money your family will have to pay for school. Your EFC is a number that TWS’ Financial Aid Department uses to calculate the amount of federal student aid you are eligible to receive. Read more about the EFC here.
