Most important choice of my life

Tulsa welding school in Jacksonville Florida is the sole reason for my progression as a professional. Not only did it give me a very valuable trade, but also showed me what it takes to make it in the field with outstanding instructors. Although I did not take the school as serious as I should while I attended I was still able to turn my welding into a career for a life time. I am currently a Team lead at Great Dane trailers in statesboro making $20 an hours. This seemed unattainable before attending Tulsa. Now I look at it as only the beginning.

    A road to success.

My name is William Guerrero-Pena and I attended TWS because I wanted a career with a immediate impact. I saw alot of friends, coworkers that have degrees , owe alot of student loans and doing the same i am doing. I didn’t want to go back to school and end up having a degree that is useless to me and don’t impact me financially in a positive way. Also, I am 39 years old, and i need something i can study which is short, sweet and i can make alot of money. i have graduated as a Pipefitter and my options are great. TWS is a great place to learn a trade and believe me, it was over in no time. I have learned alot, especially if I wasn’t a hands on person. My teacher was awesome!!
I would recommend TWS to anyone. If you aren’t a handyman, don’t worry. Shop time will definitely mold you into someone that is comfortable in what you are doing.

Thank you TWS for giving me the opportunity to make a impact on my life. Now it’s up to me.
And guess what, the sky is the limit!

    The TWS JAX Experience

In my endeavors of welding through schools, occupations, and military service, Tulsa Welding School has benefited me by way of having hands on instruction from peers/instructors as far as the best method, technique, and personal attitude needed in today’s industrial working environment. Each and every instructor I had gave me a personalized, situation oriented breakdown of different circumstances I may/will or have encountered in the welding world. I truly believe I am a better man and professional because of their dedication to each and every student including myself. When I began this in depth tour of instruction I had no idea I would learn as much or have such a strategy based career ahead of me. After the sweat and the hard work at the end of the day evaporated, I found myself ahead of the curve, working along side two other Tulsa grads in an extremely important job site here in Europe. A job site that affects the entire world in one way or another. This school has provided me with the additional skills needed to further myself in my welding career, all that’s required is a good attitude, positive outlook, and exceptional work ethic. All of the credit goes to each and every instructor I had, as well as every single office administrator that helped me get there, stay there, and provide me with the skills needed to become the successful welder I am. Thank you all!!!

    Regards,
    Matt Burns

    TWS professional welding course

My name is Daniel Miller I attended TWS from Jan to Aug 2012 I enjoyed my time there and learned a lot about welding. The instructors were very knowledgeable and most of them went out of their way to help students that asked for advice and actually wanted to be good at welding. I tested for a company at TWS and had a welding job that I started working at as soon as I graduated. Overall I believe it is a good program.

Tulsa Welding School taught me a lot in the 7 months I was there. The instructors were always willing to helping with whatever I was struggling with. And they made my whole experience there the best! 🙂

    TWS review

TWS was a great experience for me, though I was in the first graduation class and they were still a little rough around the edges trying to get things up and running properly, they still managed to teach and provide the learning material I used today in my job. Though the students could use a little more accessibility there (with getting supplies and materials (coupons, rods, grinding disc and wire wheels)) it’s a great program and I’m am always proud when I tell a fellow employee or anybody who ask where I graduated from, I always reply with a smile on my face “Tulsa welding school”.

    Excellent Program

I had some doubts when I first arrived at Tulsa Welding School. I had zero experience in any type of industrial work but that did not matter. I soon realized that it was okay that I had no experience and we were there to learn. The instructors were very helpful showing multiple demos and really getting to the root of a problem and explaining how to correct it. I know I have a lot more to learn to become the welder I want to be; but I will be forever grateful to Tulsa Welding School, the instructors, and my classmates who laid the foundation for an excellent career!

    Great school

It was a great school I learned everything I needed to know to get in the field, the instructors are the best at what they do, they will go above and beyond to help you out all you have to do is ask they are always there for you, and the carear services department are great they will do whatever they have to do to help you get a job they are very hard working people, the Dean and president are both great guys if you have any problems they will resolve it very quick so you can get back to learning your new trade, you can always go back and practice anytime for free once you have graduate witch is awesome, no other school allows you to do that I am very glad to say I am a TWS graduate of 2015.

    Awesome program!

Tulsa Welding school JAX is an awesome place to learn a trade. They have all the material, space, time, and instructor knowledge to build the skills you need to start a booming career. You can spend about 15 hours a day in the booth if you choose, even though classes only run about 5 hours. The instructors have loads of experience and are more than willing to share it with you . The staff working behind the scenes are just as awesome as the instructors in the shop. They help you find a way to make it work financially by offering grants, help you find a part time job in the meantime, and even assist you in finding a welding job after graduation!!! In my opinion there isn’t a better place to learn a trade than Tulsa Welding School!

Overall Good program. Though some of the instructors probably shouldn’t be teaching. Yes they may know how to weld, but they can’t teach it.
    The hours available are nice.

    Great base of knowledge

Tulsa welding school changed my life! It sounds corny but attending tws has proven to be one of the best choices I’ve made in my life. I completed the master welder in December of 2011. I’ve been working in a pressure vessel shop for the last 4 years. The skills I learned at tws gave me a great base of knowledge to build my career on. In the last 4 years as a full time welder. I have earned $10/hr in raises and tens of thousands of dollars in quarterly and yearly bonuses. I have no doubts that the skills I accquired during my time at tws are the reason for my success. Tws gave me the ability to provide my family with the life they deserve.

You get what you put into it.

You want to learn to weld? Take the time and make the effort. Stay late and be dedicated, the resources are there, met some cool instructors that helped me with anything I needed and gave me great advice for being prepared when the time would come for me to test for a job. I attended 2014-2015 within a week of graduating I landed an awesome job, it wasn’t easy staying late every day 10-15 hours straight when I was tired I really had to push myself to stay and practice even if I was doing good I wanted to be better. Let them party while you grind the difference will show in the end.
