Additional funding may be available for military veterans through the Vocational Rehabilitation (Chapter 31) funding program or via Workforce Funding programs on the state level. Learn more about these programs below.

What is the Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (VR&E) program?

The VR&E program is authorized under Title 38, U.S. Code, Chapter 31. It is referred to as the Chapter 31 program. It assists entitled Veterans with service-connected disabilities and an employment handicap to prepare for, find, and maintain a job. It also helps entitled transitioning Service-members.

What is a Workforce Funding Program?

Workforce funding is a term used to describe federal, state and local funding programs that support the American Job Centers. These organizations help jobseekers get employment in several ways including career development training. You may qualify for workforce funding programs that provide resources and financial support for your education at TWS.
