What is Ocuweld?

Tulsa Welding School’s Ocuweld virtual reality training expands access for students in conjunction with Meta1. We use high-fidelity 3D graphics for a custom virtual welding training simulation. Tulsa Welding School uses Ocuweld to teach you how to weld in a safe and secure environment. The instructor will be able to review your welding technique on Ocuweld and offer feedback to improve your welding skills. Plus, you can access Ocuweld with or without WI-FI. It enables you to practice your welding skills, and the Oculus Quest 2 is yours to keep.

Is There a Demand for Welders in Miami?

Employment is expected to grow for Welders, Cutters, Solderers & Brazers (514121) in Florida by 19%2 from 2022 to 2032. With baby boomers retiring and increased infrastructure in the Miami area, more welders will be needed to support projects at the Miami International Airport, mobility optimization, the Seaport, and the Net Zero Resiliency Program. These grants, announced by Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, support infrastructure with $296,417,1773. The private sector that will support much of the building and infrastructure upgrade will need the help of trained welders in the Miami area.
