While there are many to choose from, here is a selection of four helpful welding publications:

1) Practical Welding Today

Practical Welding Today is a bimonthly journal with free subscriptions for those who qualify as welders and live in North America. It helps you stay updated in your welding career by focusing on five specific areas:

It also covers real-world stories about applications, as well as practical information and advice for welders. 2) The Welding Journal

3) Welding in the World

Welding in the World is an international journal published by the International Institute of Welding (IIW). The journal is published six times a year and is available in print or online. It covers all topics related to welding, including cutting and soldering, brazing, thermal spraying and any subject related to fabrication techniques. The IIW has members from 56 countries representing five continents. The editorial board for the journal consists of representatives from around the world.

Welding students and welders will find research papers explaining the latest developments in welding. This includes technical reports that examine the environmental aspects of welding, among other developments related to metallurgy and quality assessment. Also included are guidelines for safety issues like corrosion and fatigue testing.

4) Welding Design and Fabrication Insider

Welding Design and Fabrication Insider is an online biweekly newsletter that brings you the latest welding and fabrication news. This newsletter helps you find out about seminars and continuing education courses.
