According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, HVAC technicians do the following:
- Install, maintain and repair HVACR systems.
- Install HVAC electrical components and wiring.
- Inspect and diagnose problems with HVACR systems and components.
- Educate customers on proper maintenance.
- Repair or replace defective parts.
- Keep records of work performed for supervisors and subsequent appointments.
How Long Does It Take to Become an HVAC technician in Phoenix?
