Learn more about how we can prepare you to advance your career.

At Tulsa Welding School (TWS) in Jacksonville, Florida students now have even more opportunities to pursue a skilled trades education without putting their life on hold. Through expanded weekend and overnight class schedules, the campus is offering increased flexibility for two of its most popular hands-on programs: Professional Welder and Electrical Applications.

Whether you’re working full-time, caring for a family, or simply need a training schedule that works around your life, these programs are designed to meet you where you are, without sacrificing the quality of education or job-readiness.

Starting July 1, 2025, students can now choose from alternative class times specifically built to accommodate those who need to learn outside of traditional weekday hours.

Electrical Applications – 7-Month Diploma Program

  • Lecture: Online, asynchronous (complete at your own pace)
  • Lab: Saturdays, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Additional Lab Days: Sunday attendance required on scheduled dates such as 9/28/2025 and 10/26/2025.

This hybrid format is ideal for working adults. Students study electrical theory during the week, then get hands-on practice with tools, wiring systems, and code applications in Saturday lab sessions. This program is designed to prepare you for entry-level roles in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical work.
