About this Scholarship

StrataTech Education Group is the parent company of Tulsa Welding School. The group supports the skilled trades through vocational training programs and scholarships to help TWS students fund their educational investment.

What is it?

Start sooner, save more. The Freedom Scholarship offers up to $2,000 in tuition assistance to eligible students who advance their program start date from August or later to July 2025. Designed for students with financial need, this scholarship helps you reach your career goals faster—without the wait.

When is it?

July 2025

Who can apply?

Eligibility Criteria:

  • be enrolled in a program with an expected start date beyond August 1st, 2025, as of June 13th, 2025, but move to an earlier start date in July 2025 to reach their education goals sooner;
  • be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident;
  • demonstrate financial need as determined by the financial aid application process;
  • complete a Scholarship Request Form; and
  • have no lapse in proper registration or break in attendance.
