JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – February 1, 2013 – TWS Jacksonville has a new option for those looking to start an exciting new career. TWS Jacksonville is now offering a new Shipfitting and Steel Fabrication program. Students will have the opportunity to learn skills in welding, structural drawings, layout and fit-up – skills that could lead to careers building military, commercial, and fishing vessels.
This program prepares graduates for entry level positions as a Fabricator, Layout Mechanic, Quality Technician, Sheet Metal Fabricator, Shipfitter and Steel Fabricator.
We are excited to expand our career training to include the 9 month Shipfitting and Steel Fabrication program to our list of training offerings. This is a program that has both local and national career opportunities. TWS is committed to high quality training for students and offers career services assistance. Financial aid is available to those who qualify.
TWS Jacksonville is now accepting student applications for the Shipfitting and Steel Fabrication program’s February class. Students interested in more information about the program should contact the campus or visit the TWS website at https://www.tws.edu.
TWS Jacksonville provides training in Welding, Electro-Mechanical Technologies (HVAC/R) and now Shipfitting and Steel Fabrication. Tulsa Welding School has campuses in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Jacksonville, Florida and programs vary by campus.
