75 Years of Making an Impact
2024 marks a significant milestone for Tulsa Welding School (TWS) as we celebrate 75 years of service to the Tulsa community. Tulsa Welding School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was established in January 1949 by two pipeline welders who recognized the need for trained pipe welders.
Our Legacy
Over the past 75 years, nearly 40,000 students have graduated from Tulsa Welding School, across our campuses, with hopes of pursuing a career in the skilled trades. What began as a single campus located deep within the Tulsa community, has grown into a multi-campus, multi-program force reaching thousands of students each year. Together with Tulsa, TWS has a presence in Jacksonville, Florida, Houston, Texas, and the Dallas Metro, Texas.
It’s truly inspiring to see the impact TWS has had on the Tulsa community and beyond. From our students to our employer partners, TWS has remained dedicated to offering individuals in the community the chance to forge a brighter future through skills-based education. This staple of the community both figuratively and literally helped build the foundation and infrastructure of the city it calls home.
With strong roots, we have grown alongside skilled trades over the past 75 years. From program offerings to innovative technologies, TWS has continued to be on the cutting edge of industry advancements. Although our legacy is powerful, we believe our future is electrifying.
