Train for a career while you work toward a valid high school diploma.

If you do not have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent, good news: you can still enroll at Tulsa Welding School as an Ability to Benefit student and train in our Eligible Career Pathway Program (ECPP).

What Is the Ability to Benefit (ATB) Program?

The ATB program allows students without a high school diploma or GED to enroll into an Eligible Career Pathways Programs which provides a pathway to career education training. You don’t need a high school diploma or a GED to enroll in Tulsa Welding School by applying through the ATB requirements.

 

  • How to Qualify for Ability to Benefit (ATB)
    • Meet with a TWS Admissions Representative to figure out your options.
    • Pass a nationally recognized standardized assessment that covers reading, writing and math.
  • What is the Eligible Career Pathway Program (ECPP)?

    The ECPP enrolls students in Tulsa Welding School ‘s Professional Welder program and in an Adult Education Program at the same time. ECPP participants who successfully complete the Adult Education Program will receive a valid High School Diploma. ECPP participants who successfully complete the Professional Welder program will receive a diploma from Tulsa Welding School.

  • How to Qualify for the Eligible Career Pathway Program ECPP)
    • Meet with an Admissions Advisor and tour the campus.
    • Successfully pass the required ATB assessment.
    • Attend and participate in classes provided by the Adult Education Program online and complete each course with an assessment in-person at Tulsa Welding School.
